Why is it necessary to draw up mining plans?
A mining plan is a technical documentation that describes detailed production processes related to the extraction of minerals, directions of the front of work movement, production volumes, a plan for securing mining operations, etc.
Who draws up such documents?
Such a document can be drawn up by a surveyor of a subsoil user enterprise, or by a specialized enterprise that has relevant specialists on its staff. When drawing up a mining plan, the movement of the front of work should be planned in detail from the knowledge of overburden rocks and the extraction of minerals with ensuring optimal costs for fuel and lubricants, consumables, transportation, and losses during transportation. At the same time, the extraction of rock with the optimal content of the useful component should be ensured. To ensure a monthly plan for the movement of the front of work, a surveyor engineer plans a monthly plan, using geological and technical data, sections, plans, and diagrams. Plans what equipment will be involved at each stage, where the mining mass will be deposited, etc. Mining development plans consist of a detailed technical plan, which indicates quarterly movements of the work front, geological sections with mineral testing data, and an explanatory note. Such plans are approved by the State Labor Service of Ukraine.
