What are the main tasks of compiling this project?

A geological study project is a design and estimate documentation, which is actually a business plan for geological exploration work.
Such projects are compiled in accordance with the following documents:
A geological study project is compiled in strict accordance with:
– Instructions z-14-20-22 on compiling projects and estimates for conducting geological exploration work
– The Code of Ukraine on Subsoil;
– Rules for labor protection during the development of mineral deposits by the surface mining;
– The Mining Law of Ukraine;
– Unified Rules for the Protection of Subsoil during the Development of Mineral Deposits (NPAOP 00.0–1.01–85);
– Instructions for the Performance of Surveying Work (NPAON 74.2–5.01–85).

A geological exploration project consists of a text part, tabular materials, graphic and text schedules.
The text part of the project is divided into the following sections:
title page, copy of the geological (technical) specification, table of contents, introduction, geographical-economic and geological position of the work object, review, analysis and assessment of the results of previously carried out works (if any), geological, hydrogeological, geochemical, geophysical and other necessary characteristics of the work object, methodology substantiation, the scopes and conditions of the planned works, expected results of the works, organizational and technical support for the work at the site, protection of the subsoil and the environment, labor protection and safety, metrological support of the works, calculations of project indicators, summary tables of the scopes and conditions of the planned works, information on the state registration of the works, list of the literature used.
